  • Dr Zackary Elkins O.D.

    Dr. Zackary Elkins, a native of Leeds, AL, is an alumnus of Huntingdon College where he performed as a collegiate athlete and completed his BA in Cell Biology. He would go on to graduate from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, School of Optometry in 2018 with his Doctorate in Optometry. He also completed his surgical procedures certifications from Northeastern State University, College of Optometry. In his time at UAB he developed a passion for primary and pediatric optometric care and ocular diseases including macular degeneration and glaucoma. Dr. Elkins has also developed a passion for fitting specialty scleral contact lenses, which particularly benefit patients with keratoconus, dry eye disorder, and other corneal diseases. Dr. Elkins resides in Fairhope, AL with his wife, Haley, two pups, and daughter, Everly. As a former state champion in high school football and division III collegiate athlete, he has a passion for athletics and outdoor hobbies. When out of the clinic, he enjoys volunteering with local sports teams and hiking with his dog, Barkley. As an avid Green Bay Packer and Crimson Tide football fan, you’ll find him sporting his sports apparel around the clinic every fall. Since relocating to his wife’s hometown, he has felt very welcomed on the Eastern Shore and looks forward to serving his community.

  • Dr. Duane M. Schrock O.D.

    Dr. Duane Schrock is a native of Florida and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his doctor of optometry degree in 1991 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Subsequently, he and his wife moved to Mobile where he joined the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Schrock started a satellite clinic in Fairhope for the University in 1995. In 2001, he left the University to enter private practice where he continues to provide comprehensive eye care for the entire family. Dr. Schrock resides in Fairhope with his wife, Pauline, and their three children. When he is not at the office he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, biking and being involved in church activities. Dr. Schrock states that the Eastern Shore Community has been a great place to work and raise a family and he very much appreciates the support and encouragement he has received from his patients over the years. Dr. Schrock sees patients Monday through Thursday and is available after hours for emergency eye care services. He has enjoyed building strong relationships with his patients and is committed to providing quality eye care to patients of all ages.

  • Dr. Stephanie L. Montgomery O.D.

    Dr. Stephanie Montgomery believes patient care should be a physician’s first priority. She has been practicing optometry for 10 years. She earned a BS in Biology from Birmingham Southern College and a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry. She continues her education to this day because she knows that her patient’s vision depends on her knowledge. She practices in primary eye care with sub-specialties in pediatrics and dry eye syndrome. Recently, she has expanded to her services to include the treatment of dry eye syndrome. Dr. Montgomery is also a proud member of the Alabama Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, and winner of an award from the Gold Key Leadership Society. She specializes in primary eye care, dry eyes and particularly loves working with children. Growing up in the mountains of Chattanooga TN, Dr. Montgomery loves the outdoors and in her spare time enjoys hiking, fishing, and boating. She and her husband William are passing on their love of nature to their three young children. Dr. Montgomery believes in a sense of community and is involved in local school, scouting, and church activities.
